PHP Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Developer with over three years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP programming and be adept at developing and maintaining web applications. This role requires a developer with a passion for clean code, innovative problem-solving, and staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Web Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance PHP-based web applications.
   • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
2. Database Management:
   • Develop and optimize database queries and schemas (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
   • Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for database security.
3. API Development:
   • Create and integrate RESTful APIs for external systems and services.
   • Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues.
4. Code Optimization:
   • Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP code.
   • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Testing and Debugging:
   • Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs.
   • Collaborate with QA teams for system testing and feedback implementation.
6. Team Collaboration:
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers.
   • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
7. Documentation:
   • Create and maintain technical documentation for projects and processes.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in PHP (preferably PHP 7.4+).
  • Strong knowledge of MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React is a plus).
  • Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
